It is built for Claude and ChatGPT, and works with any client that can authenticate against the connector.

Can an assistant change my data?

Only if you grant write scopes to that credential. Read only is the recommended starting point, and scopes can be narrowed or revoked at any time.

Does this require a developer?

Connecting an assistant does not. Building custom internal tooling on the same interface does.

Are there middleware fees?

No. There is no third party integration platform in the path and no per connection charge.

How it works with Trussi.AI

Securely connect your Trussi account to external AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. Using OAuth 2.0, the assistant can read your projects, customers, and financials - and, with your approval, act on your behalf - all scoped to the permissions you grant.

The AI Connector exposes your Trussi data to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and to any internal tool that can speak to an API. Rather than exporting a spreadsheet to answer a question, you ask the question against live data.

In practice that means an owner can ask which jobs slipped this week, or which markets are carrying the highest waste factor, and get an answer built from the current state of the business. The connector handles authentication and scoping, so an assistant sees the data the connected user is entitled to see and nothing beyond it.

For teams with a developer, the same interface backs custom internal tooling - a warehouse board, a commission calculator, a report the finance lead wants weekly - without middleware subscriptions sitting between your systems.

How to connect AI Connector

1Open Settings › Integrations and select AI Connector.
2Generate a connection credential for the assistant or tool.
3Choose the data scopes that credential is allowed to read or write.
4Connect from Claude, ChatGPT, or your own client.
5Run a read only query first to confirm scoping before enabling writes.

Connections are managed in Settings › Integrations by an account admin, and can be disconnected at any time without affecting the job history already in Trussi.
